I recently ordered my dress in ivory. I really wanted white but the lady at the boutique told me that it come up blue in some photos from reflecting the light. I really wanted a white dress but Im afraid. Opinions please... Should I go and change it or leave it the ivory color?

I ordered an Ivory Maggie dress, and I absolutely love the color of it. I am not a huge fan of stark white on my skin tone, so that is why I decided to go with the ivory. Im sure the ivory is gorgeous on you as well!!

i would go with diamond white or ivory. white (plain ol white) as per my bridal consultant tends to photograph not so well. it also depends on your skin tone. im spanish and have a natural tan going on, so i went with ivory, i think im the only one who didnt call the dress white, lol, and it looked so much better than a white dress when she dimmed the lights too!

I ordered mine in diamond white even though the sample I tried on was ivory. I really hope it doesn't look blue!!!

I think she means the white will look blue, not the diamond white. Diamond white is not as white as the white, it's between white and ivory.

I'm ordering mine in the diamond white too. I was worried it would be too 'white' bc im blonde and hardly tan, but I tried it on tin the diamond in the store and I loved it. Also, the girl wearing the dress in the pic online has very similar coloring to mine and she looked fab in it.

GO in and look at a dress in diamond white in the store, while its not your dress, you'll still get an idea if you like it or not....or if its 'blue' or not HTH

it doesnt come in diamond white. Its white, ivory or some other colors. But I still am confused.

Mine is going to be ivory. I didnt notice any blue. The embellishments on the dress reflected in the light had a blueish color but it wasn't anything anyone would really notice.

One person told me that Maggie dresses either come in: white oand diamond white OR white and ivory, you cant have a choose of all three (not sure if its true, a bridal consultant told me).
You can look at maggie's website to see what color- white, diamond white, ivory- it comes in
When I was looking for a dress, my friends told me not to get the white, as its very white, rather a diamond white or ivory.
I got an ivory dress, but I did call all the bridal stores asking if they had a sample of the dress in ivory so i could see it in person.
I think you would be fine in ivory!

My gown wasn't a Maggie, so I'm sure there's a slight color difference, but it was White and it didn't look blue in any of my pics. You can check my album to see.
