I love the maggie sottero dress and found the one I loooooooove in Lillettes... BUT, I thought maybe I could find it someplace else for cheaper. Bridal Reflections gave me a price of $100 cheaper, buttttt they don't carry it and neither do a lot of the other stores. Is there a reason why?? Maggie Sottero dresses are gorgous!! Do a lot of people not like them?

Certain bridal shops only order certain samples to have in their store. If you know you love it and want it you can ask most stores to order it for you. Dunno if you live in Suffolk County but you may want to try Village Bridal in Babylon or Burton's in Melville or Bridal suite in Bay Shore.

i got my MS dress at lotus bridal in brooklyn, but it was $50 cheaper at lilettes -- if you found your dress at lillettes and love it , you should order from there. They are very reasonably priced. i bought my dress at lotus because I live in bk and it was much more convenient for me for fittings.

Village Bridal also has a good selection of Maggie dresses. If you have already tried on the dress, why cant you just have the shop where they are selling for $100 cheaper order it for you there?

I got my Sottero and Midgley dress at Helen's Bridal in Commack. I went to Lilettes, but was not happy with the service. My bridal consultant kept leaving me to answer the phone or go talk to another consultant.
When I went to Helen's Bridal, it was no Bridal Reflections, but much better service than Lilettes. Ashley, my bridal consultant, was so sweet and not pushy at all. She is probably in her late 20's, early 30's. Very down to earth personality. She made me feel really comfortable. She gave me the option of her being in the room to try the dress on or leaving the room to try it on myself. I liked that b/c some people just throw dresses at you and say 'here, try them on' and others make you strip down to your panties and dress you.
Definitely check out Helen's Bridal!!! Which dress are you looking at? I am actually going there today so they can take my measurements for the dress. (I needed to buy shoes first before they measured me so they knew what height to make the dress.)

I found my Maggie dress at Liettes ( Gerri was great). But I did not purchase it there. I was hesitant because the only accept cash. I actually purchased it at Helens in Commack. Tula was my consultant she was amazing. Helens was having Maggie trunk show. You should check the Maggie website to who carries the dress. Maybe you will find a trunk show. Good Luck

I recommend going on the MS website and getting locations that carry MS dresses, then calling each one to see if they carry the sample. not all stores carry the same sample, i had to go out of state to find a sample of my dress b/c it wasnt a popular style.

Helen's in Commack had MS dresses. The ladies there are the sweetest and most helpful by the way. Call them and ask if they have it. Good luck!

You need to get to a trunk show, check her website for upcoming shows. I got mine at Helen's. And yes A LOT of people LOVE Maggies! Mine is 'Tristan'

I ordered mine from Babylon Village and Bridal and they didnt carry it. I found it at Princess in Farmingdale, but didnt like their service so refused to buy it from them. I had them measure me and then I bought it from Babylon. I recommend doing that cause then you get measured and get it from any Maggie retailer on Long Island.

My sister wore a Maggie dress 4 years ago, and while helping her search for her dress, I absolutely fell in LOVE with a particular one, so I saved the pic to my hard drive.
Forgot about it for the time being. Then I met FH and by the time I got engaged and I went looking for it, the dress had been discontinued.
If the dress you love is still on their website, you have a good chance of finding stores who carry it. But if it disappears from the website, it usually means it's discontinued and then you have to call stores who carry Maggies and ask if they have a sample to try on.
