Maggie Sottero help!

I'm not much of a poster on these boards, but hopefully someone can help me!

I've finally decided to look for wedding dresses and I came across 3 on Maggie Sottero's website that I really like, but I want to try them on I found the stores in my area (from LI to Westchester) that carry Maggie Sottero and called each store asking if they had the dress. None of the stores carry the dresses that I like. None.

Has anyone had this problem? I really love these dresses, but I really need to try them on before I commit to a dress. Does anyone have a suggestion?

what styles???? I do know that some stores will order the sample for you but theres a charge....if you end up ordering that dress the charge will be put towards the purchase usually....but not all stores do that from what i understand

Amy, Justine and JD 8106 are the styles I really like. Thank you for the reply! Do you know which stores do this? No one I called gave me that option.

your welcome!!!! i know bridal reflections has a large selection, and lillettes has a huge selection but i didnt have a problem with finding my dresses so i'm not sure who does it.....you may have to call around to a few!

or try calling maggie sottero and ask what store has a sample of those styles....HTH!

I had the same problem... I even went to the Maggie trunk show about a month ago and they didn't even have the ones I really liked there!

I think stores are a little far behind - like I know one of the dresses I really liked is from summer 08 I think, and some of the stores have dresses from like 01.

I kind of gave up looking, but let me know if you find anything out!

did you check RK bridal in NYC? I was there today looking at veils, and they have a TON of Maggie dresses

would you be willing to travel a few hours upstate or NJ? you could try elsewhere....

those dresses are really pretty! I'm sure they would look amazing in person. you can see if any of the 'maggie brides' wore one to see what it looks like on a real person (sometimes it looks so different)

i definitely wouldn't order without trying it on first- i thought i had decided on the one I wanted before I went shopping (Victoriana) but when I went in person it just swallowed me, I ended up with Lavina Royale- definitely try to try it on first!

I also ran into the same problem. I tried on a maggie dress that i loved and put a deposit on, i wanted to go back and order it and the sample was gone. someone bought it right off the rack.

no-one else carries it. i called every store on LI and NYC..i will still order it, but my mom is the only one who saw it. my sisters and FMIL can't see it until the dress comes in...2 months before the wedding. I'm bummed....theres nothign I can do

I went to RK Bridal last weekend and while I had a great experience I also had all these sepcific styles that I liked for Maggie Sottero, Enzoani and Anjolique and I did not see the ones I picked from the websites....I am so clueless too. But I did not ask if you can order specific styles...
