Maggie Sottero Question

Hi girls...I know a lot of us have gotten Maggie gowns for the big day...I was just wondering if anyone else feels like they've been waiting FOREVER for their dress to come in!!!! I ordered mine in September and it STILL hasn't come in....is this normal? Does it always take this long no matter what bridal store you order from? I'm just getting nervious...plus, being my dress is ivory, it's preventing me from getting the exact color veil i need!!!

yep - it takes a while...plus ur wedding isn't untill september. I ordered my dress in January and it didn't come in untill the summer for my december wedding..i know it's annoying to have to wait, but no worries!

It wont come in until about 3-4 month prior to your date. WHen they put the order in the manufacturer cuts the dresses according to date-since Im sure there are girls who were late ordering that is the order they cut them.

Dont worry-you will have enough time to order your veil

The bridal shop will order the dress according to a schedule. If the dress only takes 3 months to be delivered, then there is no need for it to be ordered a full 12 months prior to the arrival date.
Your dress should be coming in shortly.

My advice, call the bridal salon for
(1) ask them if they have an arrival date for your dress.
(2) if they can give you a color swatch of the dress so that you can buy your accessories (don't mention the veil).

My dress is a Maggie Sottero. But my bridal shop told me it would take 5 months for it come in..I would call your bridal place and see if they can call them to see how much longer it would be. My dress is coming from China!

You could always try on another Maggie in the Ivory to do veiling... most stores that carry Maggie have a lot of her dresses- you WILL have enough time though if you wait for your dress to come in. I wouldn't stress it yet.
