Maid AND Matron of honor

Sorry for reposting, but I'm still having trouble deciding and I'm running out of time. Has anyone ever had/seen both a Maid AND Matron of honor in their/a bridal party? FH is only having one BM. Our numbers matching up so I couldn't have the MOHs both walk with the BM because that would leave 2 guys without partners and FH is a stickler for the BP matching up. Ugh, such crazy stuff to think about but my paretns are starting to hound me about it (nicely, for now) and I could use as much advice as possible.

I had both a Maid and a Matron

To make it even out, We made one of the BM the 'head usher'.

My best friend was the maid, his best friend was the best man, my sister was the matron, and my BIL was the head usher.

It worked out fine.

Usually in he weddings I've been to (and my wedding) the Best Man is waiting up front with the groom, and the Maid of honor walks in alone, last before the flower girl or bride.

At my wedding, the Best man and head usher waited with DH and both MOHs walked in alone.

We were concerned because if we could only have ONE MOH/BM it was going to be my sister and DH's best friend, but we wanted my sister to walk with her husband. Fortunately, the priest and rabbi worked it out so all 4 of them were at the altar and had different roles in the ceremony, and we kept the couples how we wanted them.

On the way out they each had a partner, but I have been to more weddings than not where there was an uneven number and one man walked with 2 ladies or vice versa. it's honestly NO big deal. You just have to figure out the way that works for you
ETA: In your situation, I wouldn't worry about it. I would just have the extra MOH walk down with a groomsman. I don't think it really matters, or that both MOHs have to be with the best man.

Maid AND Matron of honor

I am having both a maid and matron of honor. FH is only having 1 BM. I am having my Matron of honor walk with the BM and maid of honor walk with a GM. Then my 3 BM walk with the remaining 3 GM. I want everyone to have a partner walking down the aisle.

There doesnt have to be a certain way u should do anything. Its your wedding. Have your BP walk down the way you like and are comfortable with.

I have both and our bridal party doesn't match up, I'm short one girl. Turns out our pastor said that the guys will all be up at the alter with FH so the girls walk down alone anyway. Walking out, we'll have 1 girl with 2 guys at the end, no biggie. As for reception I'm having my sister (moh) walk in with her kids (FG and RBs)otherwise they won't make it in alone so that means my other moh will walk in with the bestman and we now have 2 guys walking in together at the end so we're gonna make a joke of it. Its not a big deal to us if they don't all line up evenly. In the end its who we wanted to represent us in the bridal party so we're happy with it.

I had 2 maid of honors and one best man. I did not have an even party and just had people walked in the order I wanted them to.

I had both in my bridal party and DH had one BM, we had both walk down with him. There are so many ways you can do it (BM at front, walking by himself, matron by herself and maid with best man..etc) depending on what you guys want!

I had a maid of honor & matron of honor & 1 BM. The BM walked in with DH (can't believe I just wrote that for the first time), I had the GM that was to be paired with one of them walk my mother in (which happen to be my son), so both girls walked in by themselves. Coming back they walked with their matching guys. It worked out perfect.

My sister had a maid and matron and we walked down the aisle seperately and introduced into the reception both with the best man it was fine. I am doing the same thing having a maid and matron.

Yes! I've seen it done a bunch of times where there's a maid and matron. Just do it!

I'm having both a Maid of Honor and Matron of Honor! My daughter(who is my maid of honor) is bringing her boyfriend and he will dance with her for the first dance.

We had an uneven bridal party...8 girls, 4 guys. I had a maid of honor and a matron of honor. The best man waited at the alter with my DH. Each groomsman had two girls to walk down the aisle with...then my maid of honor walked by herself and then my matron of honor walked by herself and then my mom and I walked down the aisle. On the way back, the best man had both the maid and matron of honor so it worked out kinda evenly. For the first dance, I didn't force anyone to dance with anyone from the bridal party since it was uneven...they danced with their significant others to feel more comfortable.
