Is the maid of honors dress supposed to be different from the other bridesmaids?
im so confused with this wedding stuff... im the first of all my friends to be getting married

Defiantly does not have to be. It's a personal choice. Some have the same dress, but different flowers to make the MOH stand out.
Either way, no right or wrong

It does not have to be...however my MOH's dress will be a lighter shade of my BMs.
People add spaghetti straps to MOH dress if BMs are strapless and vice versa

That is up to you ...if you want her to be in a different dress that is up to you....Most try to show the MOH how special she is to make her stand out more ~ if you want her to be in the same dress as the other girls you can give her a different bouquet or Jewelry... there are other way to make her stand out... But I LOVE the look when the MOH is in a different dress!

Thats totally fine....I'm having my maids of honor probably wear the same dress too and just have a bigger and different color bo-k.

here's what i did: my moh bouquet was bigger. i gave her the choice...she could be in the same dress and maybe wear gloves. or the same color but a different dress. she picked a different dress

Hey date twin!!! My MOH is wearing the same dress, but her Bo-k is different. The girls are going to have white tulips and she will have white tulips with white mini calla lillies in there as well.

I don't think you necessarily have to have your MOH wear an entirely different dress per se, but it is a nice touch to have the MOH stand out from the rest of the BMs in some way, you could always give her a different bouquet or something like that

Doesnt have to be a different dress. Mine are all wearing the same and their bouquets are the same too...but I'm giving my MOH a beautiful necklace and chandelier earrings to help her stand out a bit from the others. Its all about personal choice really.

It is totally up to the bride. My made of honor dress will more than likely be the same but her flowers will be completely different from the other girls
