Maiden Name as Middle Name

Hi Ladies:

I recently got married and took my husband's name. I don't think there was a choice to retain my maiden name as a middle name. Only surname changes were allowed.

How do I NOW add the middle name ? Links to websites appreciated - and for those who have already done this, please let me know that you did it and it worked. Lastly, for those who have done this, can you advise whether I should add the middle name FIRST and then contact DMV and social security or will the middle name not matter for those purposes anyway ?

You have to go to court to change your middle name:
