Nope, I don't. Unless it's addressed to both of us, I give it to him. It would bother me if he opened mine and I'm pretty sure he feels the same way.

I usually don't, but if it's something we've been waiting for I'll open it up and when he calls later I'll tell him the info.

I don't open his if it's addressed to him. Actually, I don't even open mail if I know it's addressed to both of us, but I know it's come from his family or friends.

Not really...I throw away some junk mail...We get lots of those postcards from casinos in Atlantic City and stuff like that. Earlier this week I got home before him and there was an envelope from the county. He was waiting to hear about a county job, so I opened it, wanting to tell him the good news, but it was another test date. He didn't mind though. I wouldn't care if he opened most of mine. Or paid my credit card bills.

Yes...I open all the mail. DH gets home first...even if there is something with his name on it...he waits for me to open it.

This has been a process....DH used to throw mail away before opening it because he didn't want to deal with it (old debt from his ex, IRS, etc.)...so now that we've worked through all that....mail is my territory.

I usually open all the mail. It's never been an issue...if he gets it first, sometimes he'll open it - but he expects that I'll look at it when he's done (and vice versa).

When I'm there I open the mail, then I throw away all f the junk like credit card offers and then put the important stuff where he can see it. Stuff that's obvious without opening it like a credit card or utility bill I'll leave unopened. Also, if it's a card or something person I'll usually leave it. the reason I open the mail is because he really enver does and he's let really important stuff just sit there unopened for months. If he opened mine I wouldn't mind, but he really doesn't because I open my mail as son as it gets here
