Mail Merge Help

Did anyone use the envelope mail merge in Word to address their envelopes? I'm trying to follow the help directions but the merge is not working - nothing shows on the print preview. Is there an easy way to fo this?

I know how to do it, but am horrible at explaining it and honestly I'm going to type each address on the screen and then print one by one. When I did the mailmerge a few years for a friends wedding, it got a little screwed up when the envelopes jammed, etc...i'd rather do one by one.

are you printing labels? you feeding the envelope through the printer?

I want to put the envelope through the printer. I think I may have to type each one out that's seem to be the only way that works

I only know how to do it individually...

TOOLS > LETTERS & MAILING > ENVELOPES & LABELS
Click on the ENVELOPE Tab
Type in the Address (highlight and right click to change the font and font size)
Click on OPTION and make sure you select the proper envelope size.
Click on PRINT.
Make sure you look at your printer, usually there’s a picture of where you should place the envelope.

This is the only way I know how to do it. I don’t know how to do it in bulk.

Maybe you want to consider 'Clear labels' from staples. You can do mail merge from excel to word. It will be easier.

I tried mail merge as well & it didnt work for me either. I just went in2 envelopes & mailings, picked my size, & then clicked add to document. you just have to type the address & print each envelope individually this way,
