Mailing Invites... IT COST HOW MUCH?????
Original post by Sugaplum111905
I went to weigh my invitations this morning to see if I needed 1 or 2 $.66 stamps and the PO Agent told me it would be $2.07 per invite... I almost fell to the floor. A few friends of mine and brother are getting married this year so they used 1-2 $.66 stamps. Could it be that she just didn't know what she was talking about??? How many stamps is everyone using?

I had a similar post office shopping situation but once the post office quotes you the price and hand cancels them they will be delivered. You have to ask for it, it means they don't put it through the machine which could result in ugly marks all over the expensive calligraphy. All POs do it as far as I know, but some are more pleasant about it than others.

Some post offices won't do it if you have too many invites. If you find a nice person then you won't have an issue

I brought one of mine with me because I am making them myself and only have a few done, but I was curious to see how much it would cost. I did pocketfold as well, but they are 5x7. They told me $0.66 but if I add anything else it will be more. So yours should definitely cost the same!

I went to another PO and was told I needed only 1 .66 stamp for each. I sent them out Wednesday and a few people have called me to let me know they received it. They would have been making $$$ off of me if I didn't get a second opinion.
