Maitre D makes sure everything goes smoothly at your reception....makes sure all you want done, (garter.bouquet,oparent dances, cake cutting, etc) are done....basically keeps evertying running smoothly...
Our Maitre D was awesome and I cannot say enough good about him...
East WInd recommended 2-3 per head for a tip for him....
but, its your discretion, in the end if you feel he/she was outstanding, you would tip clost to that...if u wre not happy or IMPRESSED with your Maitre D, then I would give less...its all your discretion![]()

I heard 7% of the total food bill (which works out to $1,700 for me)!!!!!![]()

I'm not sure if ours was included in the price. They added and 18% gratuity on and we were just wondering if that included the Maitre D. Not that we are planning to tip him anything. He absolutely sucked!

you should tip them anywhere from 2 to 3 dollars a guest.
