Re: Majestic gardens...

I have heard about Majestic Gardens, and I heard that they are a bit on the cheesy side. I have passed it on several occasions (most of the time on a Saturday night) and their parking lot is ALWAYS empty...NOT a good sign.

I do know that it is definitely a place for the budget conscious, and their food and service show that.

I hope this helps!

Re: Majestic gardens...

I got married there in 2004 and wouldn't recommend anywhere else! We loved it We looked there and at East Wind and at Land's End but we decided on Majestic Gardens- no competition there. We dealt with John Gouvis (assuming he's still there which I'm guessing he is). He was great to work with and very accomodating.
It's definitely worth checking out. FM me for more details. My brother also got married there in 2000 so we knew the quality of the food was great and they fixed the grounds up a lot in between our weddings- they have gardens and gazebos in the back- very pretty! Hope this helps.

As far as it being for the cost concious.....I diagree with that...........It not cheap but its not overly expensive.

It wasn't my taste at all, but the guy we dealt with was very nice. They by far gave us the cheapest quote, and felt we would get a lot for our money if we booked there. The gardens are beautiful, but otherwise, it wasn't for us.

One of BM's is getting married there in 2008. We're actually going to a vendor showcase tomorrow! I'll let you know how it goes. Or maybe you could call there and see if you can go!

It is beautiful there! They are not cheesy! The grounds are gorgeous and pretty reasonably priced. I mean everything seems expensive to me but in general compared to other prices especially in September, they are great. I mean they even worked with me on the price. They are very nice and accomodating.

FM if you want more info! I will gladly share.

Re: Majestic gardens...

I have heard wonderful things about their food and service! We looked there, but I was not fond of their entrance and placement on the main highway-as well as their gardens in the back. it was not my style. but I would NOT say cheesy..(especially since everyones style is different)

They are not cheap either- we looked there and with some additions they gave us a quote for 140.00...not the cheapest and not the most expensive we saw...

we wound up booking east wind estate

Re: Majestic gardens...

im having my wedding there in June of 2008... and it was not cheap i can def. vouch for that it may be cheaper then some but one of the most expensive we looked at. Their food was amazing, they are so nice and willing to work with you. Also i would not call it cheesy its a beautiful place but everyone is entitled to their own opinions and it just may not be some peoples taste!

ETA: if you go there speak with Dominique shes a sweetie also if u have anymore ?'s feel free to FM me
