Re: majestic gardens

We just booked Majestic Gardens for 9/27/08. The only other September date open was yours. I went to a weeding there about two years ago and it was great. We are getting married there and the ceremony in the garden was beautiful. My friend goes there every year for a corporate Christmas party and says the food is yummy!

We were looking at Majestic Gardens for our November 2008 wedding. However, the banquet manager was not willing to work with us on price at all (which is odd because we guaranteed 250). So, we ended up with Giorgios because they were super friendly and had a lot more to offer us. Maybeh e was just having an off day, but we felt he was rude to us.

Funny because Majestic Gardens did work with us...threw in some free stuff and lowered the price on the seafood raw bar. We were tossed up between MG and Giorgio's too but I really loved the grounds at MG.

Re: majestic gardens

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have been lurking for a few weeks now. The only thing I have booked so far is the hall. We are getting married there and that garden is just so awesome for a ceremony. MG is having a bridal expo on Sept 18th so I will see who their vendors are and then start to make some other decisions.

Re: majestic gardens

That is funny because I had just the opposite experience -- good at Majestic and not so pleasant at Giorgios. I haven't been to an event at either one but heard great things about both -- that is why we looked at both places. We decided not to go with either for different reasons.
