sigh .... i can't even talk about it ... but it would be comforting to know that I am not alone ..
I swear, there have been sooo many FAMILY issues on both sides for me an my FH, we are regretting having a wedding.
we should have just gone away ...
I am still considering taking a loss on all deposits at this point ($10,000)
am I alone?

You are def not alone. I think we all have issues with our FIL's. I just say he is worth it and shrug it off as best as I can.

Not alone...my FH has a lot of cousins that are a a few years older than us, so they are all married and have kids now... they always have convo's about IL's... oh my mother in law this my mother in law that... omg my mil is the worst, no my mil is the worst... they all stop when I walk in the room... Because I would take any of their IL's over mine, and they all know it...

Not alone. SO not alone. My FMIL refuses to give addresses for our Save The Dates...however, she lives in FL... there's no way we'll know where to send invites without these addresses.
I'm pretty sure she won't even come to the wedding. She's being so passive aggressive.. ugh!
My FMIL might not be invited to the wedding...

it seems like once the rings on your finger the family drama begins.
FH dad doesnt wanna come to the wedding bcuz he doesnt want his siblings to be invited (FH aunts & uncles)
WE let our RH keep what we gave them and were having a DESTINATION WEDDING (Its sooooo worth the loss)
We both extremely excited abt OUR wedding now, before it was like a chore.
Going away may not be for everyone but were super happy with our decision

Speak of the Devil... last night we got a surprise visit from mky drunk FMIL...
my landlord has two kids 3 and under and just found out she is preggo again, the last thing she needed was a screaming match between FH and FMIL at 9pm...

FMIL isnt the prob YET... MOB aka my mother has been giving me so many problem i just want to call off the wedding on the counts of her. I have been engaged for 7 months and it has been the worst 7 months of my life... only 9 months more to go

I thank the gods everyday for my FSIL who plays the buffer between her mother and me. I don't even know (or want to know) half the stuff that comes out of FMIL mouth that FSIL has to tell her to keep to herself.
