I was so frustrated with theses standardized Fredericks of Hollywood type stores that nothing was comfortable and either made my waist small and my boobs flat or some other horrible combo and the fact that you couldnt try on stuff from Victorias secret as far as corsets/bridal undergarments go..........

So I happened upon a little store and I hit the jackpot!
Goergettes in East meadow is this tiny little store that has an older woman with the measuring tape around her neck and she took one look at me and says 'what bra are you wearing that makes you look so flat?'
She then fitted me and I ended up buying two of the most comfortable bras I have ever bought that gave me support, cleavage, the whole nine yards and my corset as well that fit perfect thanks to her spending the time to find my size.
I just wanted to share that she was an absolute pleasure and she made my stress of finding a corset/undergarments for my wedding so much easier, I am so happy I found her, just wanted to share with anyone who may be needing a good place.

i read somewhere that most women are wearing the wrong bra size, and they don't even know it..

I thought the women at Georgette's were very nice too, they even told me I have been buying the wrong size bras! My only problem was that they do not have a big selection if you are small chested and needed ivory undergarments. They also told me they do not sew the cups into the corset that I bought there so I have to ask my seamstress to do it. I did find a nice corset there.

Yeah i was totally off with my size, i was wearing a 36 b and she put me in a 32d Not the hugest selection I guess but I was just happy to find something at all
