major vent -- sorry, a little long
So last week was very busy for me, and I must admit, I haven't been on here all that much. Here's why:
I went Thursday to look at two reception halls. FH was supposed to come with, but ended up (20 min before we were supposed to leave) deciding that he had too much work to do. I would have made more appointments for that day, but he said he could only look at 2... Needless to say what my mood was as I was stuck in traffic over the GWB!
I hated the first place I looked it. Looked like the wedding would be just thrown together.... FELL IN LOVE![]()

with the second one!!!
Called my mom on my way home all excited about the second place. Big fight with her about $$. (Quickly, my parents are divorced and since she paid for my sister's wedding when they were still together, she thinks that my dad should pay for mine. PUTTING ME IN THE MIDDLE of it all... unfair...)![]()

Don't get me wrong, if she really couldn't afford to contribute, i'd be understanding, but I think it's a spiteful thing and I don't appreciate the way she's going about it.
Next. FH and FILs and I decided to go over the guest list again. We are up to 240. That is HUGE to me... and![]()

Went away from Fri-Sat for a conference and was all excited to get away, only to come home to:
FH's cousin and his FW have changed their wedding date from 6/18/11 to OCTOBER 16TH!!!!! HELLO??![]()

Got into the start of an argument (I'm not going to bring myself down to her level to start my marriage with all these wars) about how her family is larger than ours and she doesn't care who can come or not...
All right before the Superbowl that we ended up being late to because I was crying and FMIL was on the phone with this other gir's mother (not arguing, discussing nicely) and wanted to talk to me when she got off the phone......
I'm so frustrated......................
