make a dress?

how would i go about finding someone who could make a dress--be it a bridal gown or one for my flower girl.

some people on the site have had great success with Karin Yngvesdotter - I plan on having her do my alterations as I am significantly changing my dress and need a designer's eye to do so.

Karin is awesome! She designs couture wedding dresses and is a seamstress on the side. She is highly recommended on these boards (which is how I found her). My dress needs major alterations, and she is doing an awesome job!! And she is the sweetest person, too!
