'Make her invite me'

Ok, so a bridal party member has told me that some one who used to be friends with a bunch of us is disgruntal over the fact that I have no intentions of inviting her to the wedding,
Here are my reasons
1- She is a rumor / gossip starter
2- moved away for a few years and didnt try to keep in contact anyone untill she had problems and moved back
3- has said nasty things about me and other bp members
4- Only wants to come because 'everyone else is going, what will i do that night'

Now I hear in the past few weeks she has been telling other people who happen to run into her around town and at bars to 'MAKE HER (meaning me the bride) INVITE ME' ... she thinks if all these people keep saying that they want her there I will change my mind!!

Just ignore it. That's her problem not yours. It's your day and you should only see the people you want to see. The next one of your friends tell to invite her smile and say, 'She can see the pictures.' Stay strong.

That is so funny because I am going through the same thing with an old friend from High School. I just ignore her. The funny thing is that she did not invite me to her wedding.

I dont have an intention still to invite her.. I am thinking of telling her flat out that my guest list is pretty big and she is not part of that, we do have people that we would like to invite based on how many no's we get back,, but family comes first

Dont give in and invite her, there plenty of reasons why you didnt invite her and keep remembering them

This does not even warrant a response. You do not owe her an explanation, as she is not significant in your life, right? Don't play her game. She's clearly very immature.

I just wanted to share the rude behavio that she is showing.

I wouldn't even grant her the courtesy of a response...next thing you know she might try and go as someone's date....

I can't believe someone would actually have the balls to do this...maybe she was just joking. What it really boils down to is that it's your day and you should only have people that you want to share your day with there!!!
