I was at the hair salon today and we talked about weddings for hours. My stylist and her coworkers helped a bride fold programs and package favors last night so the topic came up today about weddings.
My stylist just learned today that her friend did not hear ONE WORD of her ceremony. This was nearly 8 years ago. Her friends were at the back of the ceremony area (200 guests) and said they only realized it was over when she and her husband kissed. She had a few readings and a vocalist.
She said they used wireless mics and of course she thought everyone heard it since she heard everything loud and clear (directly in front of the priest).
So, FYI, have someone sit at the back of the ceremony location to see if they can hear.
