Make sure you check that it is YOUR dress that was preserved

Read article about women who had her dress preserved in 1989 only to find out that she now has someone elses dress

If possible...check to make sure it's your dress when you pick it up. How disappointing 20 years later for this woman who wanted to give her dress to her niece.

yeah, be careful with this stuff ladies. my mom paid $500 for her gown to be cleaned and preserved in 1981 and she finally opened the a couple of months ago to show me her gown only to find that it was still filthy and it wasn't in the 'vacuum sealed' bag the company had promised.

After reading this the other day, I picked mine up yesterday. The guy asked if I wanted him to open the box and I told him absolutely, that I had heard horror stories, lol. Luckily mine was perfect
