OK so I can EITHER have a montage played-shown and made by my DJ (obviously I choose pics then they do the rest)...OR have full room uplighting. I don't want it to look too clubby but I feel like it looks nice but am not sure. WHICH ONE WOULD YOU DO AND WHY??

Uplighting hands down. It changes the whole feel of the room. They are not clubby looking IMO

I would do the full room uplighting because it will make your photographer's pictures of the room even better.
The montage can only be seen and enjoyed once.

wow!!! 3/3 for uplighting lol that looks like a clear decision right there. I was thinking by the cardbox I'd have some pictures so I can still include that. THANKS SO MUCH!!

You read my mind!!! I was thinking of seeing if I can switch my video montage for a percussions maybe. or extra lighting (my room has uplighting) Video montage is nice but for some reason not sure if I want to do that!

The montage is nice, but the uplighting changes the whole dynamic of the room and will look AMAZING in your pictures!

Uplighting! I agree it gives a feel to the room and doesn't look like a club. Im not a fan of the montage. I feel everyone should be dancing and having fun instead of looking at TV screens. If you are a fan of the montage and you can splurge for both do it. If you have to choose between the two...uplighting 150%!

Uplighting. Much nicer, it's for the whole reception rather than a short time. I'm not a big fan of the montages and TVs at receptions anyway.

uplighting! montage lasts a few minutes, uplighting lasts all night long!
get some frames from home goods or marshalls, tj maxx etc(super cheap) and put pics of FH around the room- seating card table, bar, cake table etc!
