Make-up

I'm still going back and forth on this whole make-up thing...do I get it done or go for a makeover and do it myself? With just over 2 months to go, I guess I need to make a decision, but I was just wondering what most of you are doing and if you can recommend anyone who would come to the house the day of the wedding - or if there are recent brides out there if you can let me know your experiences I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Make-up

I'm doing my own. I've had two trials and just didn't feel like myself - too much foundation. I'm going to one more with Clinique that was a 'freebie' just for ideas.

On a daily basis I wear no makeup--moisturizer only--I went the other day for a hair and makeup trial and got the pictures back today--all I have to say is definetely go for a trial--The look was completely natural and I can't believe that it is me in the pictures--I also kept the makeup on for 10 hours just to get used to it--- I went to a salon in Plainview and would def recommend them Laura

I too, am very very fair, and also have a slight case of rosacea so I tend to look like I have a constant flush if I get excited - and you know I will be excited!! I was beet red just to go for my first fitting LOL! So I am hoping to find someone. I also got a freebie at Maximus from Fortunoff, but I really would prefer someone to come to the house since I will be getting my hair done at home too. Thanks for the responses - please keep us posted about your experiences...

I don`t know where you`re getting married but try Salon Osio in Oceanside. Jean Anne does up do`s to die for. She did the hair for a wedding I was in last Sept. and all of our updo`s came out great. (516)766-2557
