Was wondering if any of you ladies have booked a make up/hair trial or have chosen your make up/hair artist for the big day? If so, recommendations welcome! I haven't even thought about it and was thinking of doing my own make up at least because I wear very minimal but now think I want someone...

Make Up

I have done one trial just to see if I liked the work. I'm a makeup artist myself and have gone back and forth if I do my own makeup or relax and let someone else do it for me. No one has ever done my makeup before just myself I do not let anyone touch my face so this was a big anxiety for me. I am still undecided I almost feel comfortable just doing it myself so that is why I am still undecied. But I do tell my clients this if you do not wear a lot of make up you still want to stick to your comfort zone. Do not let a makeup artist talk you into 'you need this' or 'you need that' if you are not comfortable. I have had many bridal clients come to me after doing several trials and say well they told me I needed false lashes or heavy concealar and I hate the way the look and feel. If you don't wear it or feel comfortable wearing them don't. There are enough makeup tricks to make your lashes look nice or you skin look nice with out piling on conclear and powder. Everyone is different and have different styles. The most important thing is your are comfortable and happy with the end result. I suggest look up some photos of what you would like for your makeup the day of your wedding. Play around with it yourself if your not liking it. Do a few trials bring the picture with you and let them know what you want.

It sleeves me out when people touch my face -especially when they lean their fingers on parts of my face to apply makeup somewhere..I feel like its going to make me breakout! Or maybe I'm just a weirdo haha
