Make Up By Oksana.....ANNOYED

So I contacted her a week ago and she said she would get back to me with rates ... this never happened .. I even followed up with an email....

Any one else have this issue? She is annoying me because I think this is a little unprofessional ...

But I have heard good things about her ... what to do, what to do ... any thoughts??????

I've heard this happens w/ her and Jenn but don't worry - they'll get back to you. They're just always constantly bombarded w/ emails I think.

Once you get rates and do your trials/schedule trials and maybe book, they're always very reliable for the day-of. :)

I'm using them and can't wait! Love all the pics of people who've used them.

She is very reliable and does amazing work. It always took her about a week or two to get back to me.

I used her the day of and I have used her since and will use her for any other events in the future!

i had a trial with her a few yrs ago for my bros wedding and i didnt end up using her. i didnt like what i looked like and i thought she said some things that were a little inappropriate

It just really annoys me that she takes so long ... and Jenn (Hair Genie) can't send me pictures of her work .... which is also a problem for me ... I think I'm just being a brat ... but Alexandra from Cocobelle was really responsive and seemed to know what she was talking about .... I'm torn because I know two people who used Oksana ..... and they looked gorgeous...

I like to communicate with people through email but I feel like with some vendors especially the ones that are very popular on LIW, calling them is the best option.

I have a trial booked with CoCoBelle for Sat (hair and make-up)... Alexandra was very very nice over the phone and she got back to me right away.

i've heard back from jen a few tmes and she said she would foward my info to oksana and i haven't heard back from oksana
but it does seem like jen doesn't check FM often... you might be better off contacting her directly rather than FM on LIW

I had the same problem. It is really annoying to not have a telephone number either when she doesn't respond to her e-mail quickly. I had a trial set up with her, and she had to cancel due to a personal emergency. If it had been just one of those I would have let it slide, but it made me feel unsure about her services. I am sure she is an awesome make-up artist from what other ppl tell me. It just rubbed me the wrong way, and made me wonder is this person reliable?

I didn't have this problem with Oksana but I did have it with Tessa.

This is exactly why I didn't want to use them. They were booked for my date anyway, but it took about 6 emails before I got in touch with either her or Jenn. It made me fear that I wouldn't be able to get in touch with them if it was very important after I booked them. VERY annoying.

I read in a review from one of the brides on the review board that they were talking smack and gossiping about the brides on LIW while her hair and makeup was being done day of!!! I mean, I know the vendors here read the boards and stuff, but come on now lol.

honestly, i dont really remember but i just remember thinking she was weird lol. she did a GREAT job on my sis in law the day of the wedding though!! she looked beautiful but at the trial, i just felt like she made me and my 2 cousins very pale.

I am using oksana and i am very happy.

she is very busy with trial and weddings and it takes about a week for her to return emails. I would be patient. She is worth it. If you book with her you will get her cell phone number. She doesn't give it out to everyone because she would be getting calls constantly. That is why she only contacts you via email.. for now.
