Hi ladies - so, I am about to drop a check in the mail to Oksana to have her do my make-up the day of, but I don't have a contract - nothing in writing besides are emails. Is that her norm? I just emailed asking if there was a contract, but I figured someone on here has to know . . . help!

Personally - I wouldn't do anything without having something in writing.

That's a great idea. Should I ask for the receipt once she gets /cashes the check, right?

I know - this makes me uneasy too. Hopefully our emails suffice, should anything go wrong. I plan on keeping in CLOSE touch with her until the day of and my mom is going to do a trial and my sister possibly too . . .

Re: Make-up contract?
yes i emailed her and asked her for a contract she said she does not do them, so she would be happy to mail me a receipt. I sent my check in and saw she cashed it so i followed up w/ her and she sent me one via the mail. I wouldnt be worried because so many girls on here have used her before w/ no problems.

Good luck with that...
I've been trying to reach her for 2 weeks and NOTHING. I am really considering eating the $50 deposit and going with someone else.
