i can't for the life of me remember which one i went to .. i think it was clinique .. but as my payment i had to buy any two items from their counter .. not a bad deal in my opinion.

COLOR ME STUPID!!

But does EVERY counter offer this bridal at home service? I am a big fan of Bobbi Brown cosmetics. And would love it if they do!

By the way I asked them once about the right colors for my hair & complexion because I was tired of wasting money on make-up. And they gave me a free make-over. I did buy the make-up but wasn't told I needed to spend a certain amount!

I dont know about all the girls at the makeup counters coming to you the day of, but most I contacted did. I wasnt pushed to buy any cosmetics. In fact on the day of my wedding the makeup artist gave me alot of free stuff.

Irishtracy - the makeup girls that come to you on the day of your wedding are not working through their company. They are doing it as a private business and therefore can charge you whatever they want. If you love Bobbi brown, you may find someone who works at a counter that does makeup on the side. I am posting this b/c I used to do bridal makeup and I can tell you how it works. Good luck!

I am really BIG into make-up and am looking for a specific look on the day of: JN- was booked for my day, Jennifer from FT Makeovers had her own private party on that day..... So I looked at:

Pauline- Who I LOVED....
Denise- Who I LOVED
Francesca from Kimara Ahnert- Didn't like the look

Still will be seeing Laura from Prescriptives and Boushelle- recommended on the WC boards.
