I was thinking about going to Broadway Mall Macy's to have my makeup done tomorrow for my Epics. Does anyone have any reccomendations on what counter to go to? I was hoping to pay little or no $$ if possible. If I have to spend $40- $50 I will though. I usually use Bare Essentials, but will be willing to use anything for tomorrow. I only have about 30-45 minutes to spare though (because I have to work in the morning, get my hair blown out and pick up my daughter from school) Is that enough time?

I wish I had a recommendation for a counter person for you. I just wanted to write a caveat:
I had my makeup done at the Estee Lauder counter in Bway Mall before a formal party.......and it looked ok in person, but when I saw the pix from the party, I HATED how I looked. I just didn't look like myself.
So, just be careful because you don't want that to happen for your e-pics.
Is it possible for you to do your makeup yourself?

It's possible for me to do it, thing is, I don't think I do it well. I usually wear eyeliner, some Bare Minerals foundation & mineral veil, and every once in a while some eye shadow. I don't usually wear lipstick either.

For $40-50, you might be able to get it done in the salon where you get your hair blown out... You should call and ask!

Depending on how busy they are they might do it for free if you purchase somthing I would call & ask in advance that way your not running from counter to counter

I am not sure where you live, I went to the MAC store in the Walt Whitman mall. There is no charge, you just need to buy 4 products.
My make up came out awesome.

If you are willing to go to Roosevelt Field, Bare Essentials have Christina do your make-up. She's great. She did mine for my e-pics. You can my e-pics in my album. I am a little biased, she is my cousin

Okay, so I did adk the girl at the salon, and she is going to do it for me for $20. She usually charges $30 she said, but when she said $30 I said 'oh, I don't know, maybe i'll just do it myself' and she said 'Why do you need this stuff done' and when I told her for e-pics she said she would do it for $20. So, $20 for my hair, $20 for my makeup, and $6 for my eyebrows. I'm going to give her $55 total.

I wouldn't get my eyebrows waxed right before photos...I get red.......stays red for a while....can you get them done a day or 2 before?
