I am probably going to have it done. My plan is to go to MAC or one of the make-up stores that offer make-overs. I don't plan on spending a fortune on it.

This isn't a bad idea. You get the best of both worlds...someone else doing your make-up professionally for free

I had mine done by the same person who was doing my makeup for my wedding. It was more of a trial for me than anything else. She did the makeup very light so you could barely tell it was on. But, my pictures came out GORGEOUS! I am so glad I had my makeup done.

However, I want to note that I very rarely wear make up and never alot of it. If you wear make-up often, you definitely don't need someone to put it on for you.

I think it's always nice to have your make-up done for stuff like this if you can. You can do something inexpensive, like schedule a trial for that day, just leave yourself a little extra time in case it comes out really bad!

I think it depends on how well you can do it yourself. I feel sometimes I do my own make up and it comes out great and other times I have 'bad face days' (instead of bad hair days'.

I like the idea of the free make overs.
