Make Up Help for Dark Skinned Brides!

I have darker skin (i'm indian) and I can't find anyone to do my make up with a 'natural' look. I've had about 3 horrible make up trials.

Also, how are you girls going about telling vendors that you WILL NOT be working with them? I hate telling people no

I'm using Mia and I've seen a LOT of pics of different trials she's done for all different skin tones; that's what pushed me to have a trial with her.

Mia at BridalLounge... her contact info is on her website: www. bridallounge .com (take out the spaces). Good luck! You can see pics of my trial in my album, but if you do a search, you'll see all the different girls that have used her.

Hi, Have you tried Sada? I am Indian, dark complexion and used Sada. I loved it and have had some of my friends use her as well.

Send me FM if you would like to see photos.

This weekend I went to bare essentuals in roosevelt field and a very dark skinned girl helped me. She said she was wearing their makeup and she looked beautiful! So maybe try going there. However, bare minerals does contain spf- so there is the chance that your face will be reflected in your photos.

My makeup artist was very good. My bridesmaids and mother had different skintones and she did an excellent job.
