Make-up- long/vent

A while ago my little sis was at the nice salon in town- and a girl recongnized our last name- it turns out her Mom and my Dad were in the real estate business together

She does make-up, she actually did my sister boyfriends sisters wedding last summer- everyone looked great
she said she would do mine wedding- no prob

So I call to make an appointment- I speak to a women- she says she took the summer but she will call me, call back if I don't hear from her

So I gave her a week- I called today- now another told me that she doesn't think she is coming back!

I don't know what to do- I haven't thought about anyone else- my wedding is in 4 months!

I really want someone to come to my house and do everyone's

I am running out of time!

IF you post in the vendors helping brides board, you may be able to get someone, b/c its not a time of year with a lot of weddings, and you need a lot of people done... hope that helps!

That really stinks! Have you posted on the vendors board to see if anyone is available for your date? The vendors will come to your home the day of.

Denise from Angel Eyes did my makeup and I was very pleased! She will come to your home the day of. Her trials are done at her home in Huntington.

my best friend just left joseph christopher after being their make up artist for 5 years, she is amazing and will be doing my make up for the big day, fm if you want her info! dont worry you will find someone!

call raychel wade --she did my makeup and my mom and sisters --we were all very happy

December isnt a super popular time to get married so chances are you can still find someone that is great to do it.

I have a friends who does makeup if you want her number. She is REALLY nice and I **think** gives free trials (not sure on that though)

she isnt doing my wedding only cause she is a friend and Id rather her have fun and not be stressed out by my psyhco BM'S and mother

You still have some time. Dont stress it. There's really no need to book your make-up perosn so long in advance...

hi beth- you are in december - so you probably have a better chance of finding someone.

a girl on the brides review mentioned susan of aura faceworks. she sent me pics of her wedding and her makeup was gorgeous. i called her but ended up booking jillian only b/c my trial with jillian was first.

susan charges 70 for a trial and 100 for day of. shes been doing makeup for 20 years. maybe she is avail on your date?

here is her site - she doesnt have many sample pics though- but its worth a shot.
her house is in farmingdale for the trial and she will come to your house day of.

I have a great hair/makeup lady in the SB area. She used to work at La Combe Salon in PJ for a number of years and now is on her own. She is fabulous... has done makeup and hair in the city for photo shoots... and is just a great person in general. My family has been using her for years. She came to our house for my sisters wedding and did both hair and makeup for my sister, mom, and the bridal party. Everybody was really happy! I don't know if she does makeup separately, but I imagine it wouldn't be a problem. She was one of the first things I booked when I set a date! FM me if you want her info.

Happy news! I just got off the phone with the girl I orginally wanted-

she tried to leave me a message last week- (I need to take this up with verison b/c that's the thrid important message I haven't gotten)

I am going for a trial in a few weeks-
