make-up or airbrushing?

Re: make-up or airbrushing?

I think that if you are torn you should get a trial with airbrushing & one with natural. I have to tell you that I am not a fan of airbrushing. A very reputable mu vendor did my trial w/airbrushing & I my first reaction when I saw myself was laughter. I thought it looked horrible. It made my skin resemble that of a deceased person. It looked heavy & caked on. Yes, if felt as though I was wearing no makeup at all but then I'd pass a mirror & it all came back. I can FM you pics if you would like. I just can't post them on here b/c it's that bad.

Hmmmm thats true, i dont want my make up to look caked on...yeah my best best is to do both, i will go out both times i do it and see which lasts longer, what feels best and also dont want to look like i have ten pounds of make up on...If you don't mind, i would like to see the pictures, thank you

That's what I thought- That it would hide flaws but I think that foe me it emphasized lines that I don't really have. Check out the pics in your FM.

yeah i mean it can look different from one person to another...also has alot to do with personal choice...Ive had my make up professionally done a couple of times but never airbrush.

I don't know whenever ive had my make up done, i was never like OMG WOW about it, liked it alot and all that so thought airbrush would have a different look but dont know.

I know it will be just for one day but do you know how it is on your skin? I have very sensitive skin and i'm afraid that i'll break out if i mess around with airbrushing.

well thats why you get a trial ahead of time, first you should do it to see if you like the make up artist...I am not booking until after ive had a trial and see if i like it first

thanks for posting this denise, I'm learning a lot reading this thread. My mom was saying something that if you get airbrushing done and someone kisses you on the cheek and leaves lipstick on your it is very difficult to get off? She wasn't even sure if this was true so I have no proof of this

that wouldn't be good lol.

Yeah i know i am learning alot from it too, and its hard to decide...I mean you can only take in what everyone is saying and consider the pros and cons based on others experiences and opinions, but gotta experience it yourself i guess to see what is best for you
