make up packages

make up packages

My mom started talking to me about booking a make up artist but I figure that I have other major vendors to book first. However she did get me thinking. How far in advance did you start looking for make up artists? Do they all offer trials and if so is there a fee associated? Can they just make up the bride or has your your experience been they all book packages for your bridal party as well?

It really depends on the makeup artist. I'm getting married the day after you and I already booked mine. There's always a trial fee. Some have packages, some have a minimum number of girls and if you don't have the minimum, the brides fee is higher. My makeup artist has a 3 girl minimum and is traveling to me the day of.

My wedding is October 3 and my makeup trial is tomorrow and yes there is a fee. Mine is with Christina Amador and she was almost completely booked for the year already! I didn't even think people would be booked so far in advance..shows what I know!

i booked mine like a year in advance because she books up reallllly quick.. my MUA is christina amador and she is seriously so amazing :) she is the only MUA that made me look gorgeous but not like a clown or a 'dead person' (what my FSIL says about bridal party makeup because it usually is SOOOO cakey haha)

I booked with Christina Amador about 13 months before my wedding. If you find a makeup artist you are interested in, I would definitely start booking a trial with them.
