Make-up post for QOTD 3-17

Since I missed posting yesterday I'm doing a double pst today to try and make it up.

So for the beginning of my time as BOTW I figured I'd go back to the beginning. Let's talk about how it all began FH and I met while going to school in Albany. I know a lot of people say a bar isn't where you will find 'the one' but that is completely not true in our case! I had seen him around and knew his name but nothing more than that. After a few drinks at the bar I built up enough liquid courage to go talk to him. I let him know right of the bat that I was interested in seeing more of him and gave him my number letting him know to put it to use. I told him I was working until 2 the next day and I was free after that. Well I got a phone call right when I left work, went out for a late lunch and we've been together ever since!

So girls how does your love story start?

i met my FH a year after my divorce. i was in the stage of not wanting to date, taking care of myself and my son and just having fun. i was on dating websites, but not really to find a relationship

my FH messaged me and i ignored it..thought he looked like a geek couple of months later he messaged me again. we hit it off on the phone. went on a date and i had no interest in him. i told him the next day i didn't think it would work out. he asked me why, i gave him reasons and he begged me for another chance saying he gives off horrible first impressions. so i agreed.

i mentioned in the first date that my ex husband took all my movies in the divorce. so my FH came over my place for our second date and we ordered in chinese. he surprised me with Spaceballs and Princess Bride...my 2 favorite movies. he told me its the start of my new collection.

we dated about 2 months...i freaked out and broke up with him. he would text me once a week checking in with me but giving me my space. a month later i was telling my work assistant im not sure if i should contact him again. without me knowing my assistant took my phone and texted FH 'hi'. a year later we bought a house, got engaged, getting married this june and planning to start trying for a baby this year. persistence pays off!

FH + I were friends in college through the guy i was seeing at the time. We were friendly but nothing more. 4 years after graduating, he messaged me on facebook to hang out. I was single so i figured why not. A few tequila shots later, our relationship was off to a hilarious start.

I met my FH the summer before my senior year of high school. I got my first job at a supermarket (grand union) and he trained me. I had a crush on him from day one but we didn't start dating for like 4 months and obviously the rest is history <3

We met in medical school. I thought he was really cute from the beginning but was playing hard to get because I was there to study and because I just got out of a very long relationship. He was very persistent about hanging out and doing everything together.We hung out a lot, of course using studying as an excuse but it wasn't until 3 months in that I finally gave in when I realized I was in love with him.

Well for me my friend was moving to FL and I wanted to give him a send off party. Being that my FH is also friends with him, we exchanged numbers to ensure I wasn't missing any if his friends. That was August, 2009, now here we are............

We met in college at a party that our mutual friends had in their duplex. He got incredibly drunk and getting sick outside on their lawn and I heard him so I brought him water. He was 'dude with glasses' and I was 'Colleen' (not my name!)

I met FH through friends (although they did a terrible job trying to help, but that's a long story). We talked online (aim!! haha) for a little bit and then they threw a labor day party and he came to the party to meet me. We dated on and off a year before we actually 'got together.'

FW and I met at my Matron of Honor's Bridal Shower. She came late and in jeans and a t-shirt and I remember being upset that she came to a Bridal Shower so dressed down. Eventually we were introduced and after being around her for a little while, I got over myself, and found her to be like a long lost friend. At the end of the shower, not wanting me to walk alone at night, she offered to drive me to my car that was parked around the corner. While exiting her car, I remember feeling like I was fighting a magnetic force. This force drove me to want to be around her more and more often, finding any excuse to talk to her, be around her. Texts turned into phone calls, phone calls turned into dates and we have been inseparable ever since.

My friend had a birthday gathering at his apartment and told me to come and meet some of his groomsmen in his upcoming wedding. My friend and I passed out chipwiches she made and my FH yelled at me for not giving him a plate. We later made a run to 7-11 and I thought, this guy is cute! After I left, I texted my friend and he gave me his information and we had our first date the next weekend. Little did I know, FH was just in a terrible car accident and almost didn't come to the party. He finds it hilarious that I thought he was cute that night because he was a mess from all the aftermath of the accident- dressed in cargo camo shorts, didn't shave, and his shirt had a hole in it. But I like beards!

All these stories are so cute!!!

My FH was chasin me for the longest.
He has a family business close by to where I lived and for the longest I always turned him down and told him I had no time to date (I alway thought he was cute but I use to work a lot and had came out of a sucky relationship previously). Then one day we were talking and i noticed how sweet he was and finally caved and gave him my number.

Im so happy I did cause he really is my perfect match!

And he still has the little paper i wrote my number on to this day
