Make up question

Make up question

I had my trial and loved it, but I wasn't sure about the eyeliner - it was black and I normally don't wear it on the bottom of my eye, and I felt like it was too dark. Especially after seeing myself in a picture I took that day.

Any suggestions on how to make my eyes pop w/out putting really dark eyeliner on the bottom? Should I have her use brown? I have hazel eyes and dark blonde hair.

Open to suggestions...thanks

Re: Make up question

Don't put it on the bottom at all. I would not use brown either.

Personally, I like to do dramatic eyeshadow on the top of the lids with NO liner on top and only liner on the bottom INSIDE of my eye. My eyes are very rounded, so this works for me.

I work in cosmetics and everyone eye shape is different. try it on yourself and see what you like/don't like. Can you post a pic of the trial?

I did not use eyeliner on the bottom either. Just have her use the shadow from your lids on the bottom so it still pops. HTH!

I would try just putting the black in the corner of the lower lid only not all the way across. That's what we changed at my trial and it made such a difference. My eyes looked so much bigger and brighter

Just looked at your pics, you would look fine with no liner on the bottom as long as there was some on the top, or vice versa like I mentioned. Just make sure you don't use concealer that is too light then, without bottom liner it will make you look washed out.

Very helpful ladies! I'm actually going to go for another trial with someone else, and see what happens...but these are all great ideas

If you want the liner, you can try to use gray or brown/black. I personally don't like wearing eyeliner on the bottom because it runs when I sweat and gives me undereye circles! Try it without it and see what works for you :) No rules to what you have to do. It's your day

Re: Make up question

Not sure if this helps you,
But my makeup artist actually used a nude-colored pencil for my lower eye liner...it may have even been a lip pencil. It was just enough to take the pink out and it looked great!
Hope this helps!
