Make up trail W/PICS- Honest opinions please

Any more suggestions? Jiffy where are you?!?!

HOLA!!! I like the makeup colors! I think you need more on the crease of your eyes and maybe some fake lashes. The thing is you're not wearing lipstick so it's your eyes that are the focus. Having the black liner all around the eye is going to make your eyes look smaller- not give them the pop that they need!

Personally, I think you did a fantastic job on your own makeup. I can see why you would want to get it done. Pamper yourself! If you go with her just suggest a darker, deeper crease and fake lashes.

By the way... you have gorgeous lips!
Two things I would love to change..my flat @ss and my no upper lip!

LOL..yea you are my make up specialist..I always go to you for opinions . As far as hiring her, Im not, too much money to spend on having make up done IMO...besides everything she did I can do myself ...I will def. buy darker make up and get some fake lashes...I will repost a redo on my make up this coming week. Thanks again.

I agree that probably for everyday makeup this look is good. However, for your wedding day something seems to be lacking. I don't wear that much makeup myself so I can't help you in that department.

I know you're not a fan of wearing a darker lip color, but maybe give it a try. Remember that what will be left are your pictures and that is where you want the perfect color to appear.

You have time, so just continue tinkering with it.

More color on your eyes-but less black eyeliner-I would consider using brown. Your eyes are already so strong-I think the black eyeliner takes away from them.

Yes, I was actually thinking about brown instead of black...but she went with black because thats what I told her I normally wear..I will try brown

I think you look beautiful. I do not think it is over done. Very natural!

wow, how weird... you have dark hair and beautiful tan/olive skin with brown eyes.... i have red hair, pale pale skin, freckles and blue eyes and when i had my make up done at mac they suggested the SAME colors for me (and used them on me) they came out great and i get lots of compliments (this was not my wedding trial, just everyday make up) but i think that's odd b/c you are SO opposite of me in colors so i don't think you should be wearing the same stuff as 'white as a ghost' me!! i would expect totally different colors... hmmm, that would make me wonder about the person that did my make up if i were you...

i think you look pretty but for your wedding? idk, i'm not loving the eyes-- what she used does look really white (and those same colors are TOTALLY different on me)... and i think that you could have used more 'earth tones, neutrals' with a warm cheek color like a pink/peach and something to really make your lips pop a bit...

It's nice, simple. People have different views on how wedding makeup should be. Personally I like a more 'glam' look as oppose to the more 'natural' look. The makeup trial is pretty but, I think that it could be a little more dramatic...In the end it all depends on your taste!

I really like MAC makeup!! It's great stuff!!
But I think that the foundation color/s she used did not bring out the tones in your skin -- the color seems sort of flat *not warm* to me. Also, I could see using slightly deeper shadow on the lids for the full-on drama effect...maybe the fake lashes too if you'd like...

In all honesty, I didnt like her work that much. I think I can do a much better job (and I plan to)...I dont think she put to much thought into the colors that she choose for me...and she said she charges $125 for bridal make up!!! which is incredibly insane being that she didnt do a fantastic job to begin with...also...she didnt seem to friendly which is not good at all in my eyes. I think she did do a good every day look..but for the wedding I agree with you girls...it needs to be darker in the eyes. Thanks for the opinions!
