Well, i posted my first disappointing make-up trial and i think you ladies were honest and it was greatly appreciated (pic are still in my album) Now i am posting my second trial- I did this Yesterday. Honest opinions/remarks are great appreciated. Just to give a little back ground info. I told her i wanted smokey eyes, but after seeing it on me, i realised that smokey is not what I wanted. I wanted to look natural but wanted color over my eyes to make it pop. She was very accomodating and she tried different looks and many different lipstick. I will get more into my review later on.

Claudette did my second trial. I took my mom and Fh with me (the two biggest crictics you can find). Claudette was very profesional and friendly. I didn't bring any pictures to show her what i wanted but i said to try the smokey look. First, i am not a big make-up person and i wanted to look natural on my big day. SHe did Smokey, but i think it was too dark for me, so we decided to lighten it up. She again went to work, no complains. My eyebrows were not done and she waxed it so i could get a better idea of the complete look. (this made a big difference). Then my mother thought the foundation was too dark, she then reapplied a lighter shade. All this time she was making small talk with all three of us, telling me about skin care - (I have bad skin) and i dont use anything on it. She made suggestions on how to clean my skin leading up to the wedding so that i will have health looking skin. she suggested i go outside in natural light as most of my pictures will be taken in an outside garden, so i could see how the make up looked. This made a big difference. I did this a few times and she was always patient. I am not use to lashes, so i would tear up regularly, she would stop give me a minute and then re-start. I didn't feel rushed, and she listened to all the concerns I had. I think we spent over 3 hrs trying different ideas, and she never once looked frustrated. In the end my lashed looked abit ruffled, but that was b/c we had to wipe off diferent eye shadows and re apply. Overall, i was happy with my results and i think a bride needs someone who is calm and professional and is willing to listen to your concerns.
I think it looks perfect!! Its just the right amount of make-up. Your eyes do pop but in a subtle way.

No offense taken... but there is no need to comb them out, b/c they started to fall off during my engagement pictures. which was an hour after they were glued on.
I didn't mention that my second trial was free. ( I didn't want to ruffle any feathers). But i feel that i should be able to post as i feel, if it gets deleted ..it gets deleted. The person who did my first trial did a bad job needless to say i was mad cause i had my engagement session booked and i had to show up looking like this. I called my planner Christine from EAPand showed her my pictures. She called the company (can't say name, but everybody knows which co) who did my first trial and i guess they worked something out and that is how Claudette came to the rescue and tried to make a depressed, mad and running out of time bride happy.

O my gosh!!!! What did the first makeup 'artist' say after she was done with you?? I'm sorry that happened but Claudette did a great job!

Gorgeous! You look amazing and so happy and glowy. I'm glad you found someone who was willing to be patient and really nail the look. You're going to make a lovely bride!
