I have a make-up trial scheduled with JN next month at like 6:30. I was thinking of rescheduling it to December on the morning of FSIL's wedding (it's a Thursday), this way I can really see how the make-up holds up ALL day after kissing people, dancing, crying and see what everyone thinks....
Anyone think this is a cheesy idea?

I think it's a great idea! I was thinking of doing a hair trial the same day I have to go to a wedding.

Not cheesy at all! I had my makeup trial on the day I had my engagement photos taken and thank god - I couldn't have a done a better job than the professionals!

I was thinking that the make-up person might think I'm just scamming a free-trial for an event, I felt kind of guilty. I'm a weirdo what can I tell you?

That is exactly what I am doing. Why not have it done when you are actually going somewhere. I am going to my cousin's wedding with my FI. He will obviously see that I have makeup on but can I tell him that it is from my trial? Or is that a surprise too?

I just booked her last night, she is so nice. Very talented! I just LOVED my makeup.
I think if she can accomodate you, than change the date.
After my makeup trial I wanted to go out and party! But I had work the next day, so instead I drove to my Mom's house and FMIL's house to show off my makeup.
The one thing I would be concerned about is your actually wedding date being booked if you want to book her late. I would recommend talking to her about this. I am noticing the good vendors book really fast.

So TRUE jennbaby, I felt awesome last night, I didn't go to bed until 2 AM because I didn't want to wash my makeup off!
