the pics are in order, b/c she did regular make up and air brush...

first 2 Regular Makeup.

rest are airbrush with 'variations' on color.

well, considering you are not a make-up girl - and you really didn't know what you wanted... that doesn't sound too bad!

I am super nervous about my own trial tomorrow.

based on the pics, I like the airbrush better. Especially the one posted below... But honestly I don't think any of the lipstick colors are very flattering for you. I think something more neutral and glossy, but that's JMO.

more importantly, what do you think?

eta - the last pic, too much blush. I don't think you need it, IMHO.

I like the lip color in the pic that laurie posted, but I don't care for the airbrushing. I don't know if it's the lighting of the pic, but I think it makes your face look too shimmery. I don't see that effect with the regular makeup application (first two pics you posted).

I think it's not so hard to do your face - you're gorgeous and have amazing bone structure. I would do a smoky eye a la Sarah Jessica Parker and focus on that. I'm not in love with any of the trials posted...I'm sorry!!

I like these for you and think they'll suit you (and Joss Stone has 'small' eyes too)...

I LOVE this Joss Stone...this is all I want!

Jess, if I had to pick any of them, I choose the first ones. Otherwise, they are not doing you any justice! You're beautiful and the make up is not showing it. Definitely have another trial with someone and print the picture of Joss Stone to show the make up artist.

the first pic looks the best
i think the eyeshadow sparkle is too high on the eye
i also think the lipstick is too loud-

she needs to use muted colors

I like the airbrush better since you have a nice glow. However, the eye makeup is too understated, they should pop more. Overall the lips/blush colors are off.

Definitely, would try someone else.

I think in some of the pics you look too glittery. the only picture i liked was the second one, but i agree with the others that the lipstick color needs to be changed.

btw jess i think i saw you at loehmanns in the city this past weekend, but wasn't 100% sure it was you.

Jess... I think you are a beautiful girl and I don't love the way it looks.. I def. think it can be done better...If I had to choose it would be the first one...I think the shimmery on the airbrush is too much for you..it doesn't match your personality...

ugh I feel bad now, I should have said hello, I thought it was you I was getting some Juicy couture sweats since theyre cheaper there and I said to my mom that looks like someone from LIW, but I wasn't sure.

Jess I have to agree with everyone here you have amazing bone structure and I think the pic of the way Joss Stone has her makeup will def. look amazing on you.
