make up trial today .... question

today i have my makeup trial with Jacquline Nicole anyway i am going to her ... do i tip her and if so about how much????

mine was a free trial so i was gonna tip her $60 but again its different since it was a free trial. She wouldn't take it though

If you are going to them both times and they are charging you, I would do 10 bucks and then I would do a good tip the day of. Im bad too when I tip, I dont know what too much or too little

well it was free so i was like ah let me just give a little more...there are times i get my hair done in the city by certain people and they wont charge me, and it will be at expensive salons and the workers there tell me to tip around $50-100 for the gesture bc they wont charge me for getting highlights and at their salon its like $300-400...so bc of that i guess thats why

Yeah Im planning on tipping the girls wel the day of. But def the high end salons should get better tips

just always calculate 15-20% from the price, thats the norm for tipping...at restaurants an easy way to do this is to double the tax, before i tip i look at the tax and double it , IF ITS like $6.30 ill round it to 7 and then double it...if they do a good job you can leave a little bit more its up to you

yeah i'll still tip them well the day of too. Yeah salons should but at the same time i wanted to make sure the people who are doing my hair and make up for my wedding get tipped well

i am getting charge both times ... today i am going to do airbrush so it will be 55 ... next week (this all depends if to day goes well and i have no doubt it will) i want to see a diffrent look but i am not going to bother to do airbrush and that will be 30 ... i think 15 each time is more than enough and since i was going to do 20 ill just do 15 ... the day of if i do air brush its going to cost me 150 ... i was thinking 50 tip but should i do more????

15 is more than fine bc 20% of the 55 is $11 so its perfect

most of them don't mind if you bring someone and i know alot ppl do bring someone...for make up trial i went alone but for hair trial FMIL came with me
