To be honest I think it's overdone on the highlighting I can see where its even over your eyebrow (where it shouldn't be) I think I'd look for less 'white' matte shadow..maybe something w/more dimension like a light bronzed or frosted shadow. jmo

to be honest, I think it's a bit harsh for a wedding, when you were getting the trial, did you tell them that this was makeup for your wedding? If you don't mind me asking who did the trial, was it mac? Because MAC tends to do that with trials...

Ive rarely done anything typical, and i wanted dark dramatic eyes, and that is what I asked for. I know its not typical wedding, but thats me.

i think it is the color of the hoodie that is throwing it off, because when i just looked at the face i really liked it and then as i drew my eye back i could see what the other girls are saying. It is that shade of blue that makes it look harsh. I like the white for a bride look. My friend actually got me a gift before the wedding-an eyeshadow called 'polyester bride' by urban decay. I love the eyeliner. I used a lot of silver shadow for my wedding. I loved it.

i think you can still do something dramatic and different with your eyes but different colors...those colors don't compliment your complexion, you can do smokey eyes and make it very dramatic but i wouldn't do those colors. Also the way the top of the eyeshadow is done, is not on perfectly

I think the eyes are lined to severely. You need less hilighter on the eyeshadow and more of a muted shade. You need blush and a little more color on the lips. Maybe you can get another trial somewhere else.

in my opinion, i think the colors on your eyes are too contrasting with your own skin tone...With your complexion and hair color i would def. stick to something more neutral...maybe even with a smokey eye....the blues are def. throwing it off. Also keep in mind that when you look back at your wedding in a few years, you may wish you didn't do something so trendy. hth

Unfortunately, I have to agree. Did you book or are you still shopping around?

I think your dark and dramatic look should come from the crease and blend its way outward from there. The liner should be smudged or blended so as to not create such a hard line. This is to hard of a look for you...
Though I can't see the color of your hair, you do have beautiful eyes and cheek bones and great lips that you can play off of and accentuate and create a balance at the same time...
Try going to MAC or Chanel - they are both great places to look for dramatic looks!

When you say dark and dramatic do you mean you want the smokey eye look? or just darker around the eyes?

I agree, i think shes spot on with this. The bold, primary colors of your hoodie in the picture is really off-setting your makeup. If I stepped back, and pictured this makeup with your hair done and your all white gown on, I can see how it would look so much less severe.

i think the above posters are right & that being in a wedding gown with ur hair done would definetly make it a tad softer....however, without even mentioning the color scheme (because i know you had said this is what you asked for) I just don't think the colors are well blended. You can see where one starts & ends and I think that is what is making it look so harsh. I would go for a few more trials....definetly try Mia from
b r i d a ll o un g e. com (take out the spaces)....she's amazing and is AWESOME when it comes to dramatic looks. She costs a little bit but i swear u will not leave dissapointed. At my original trial with her I wanted something dark and dramatic for my evening ceremony and my makeup was SO out of control amazingly gorgous(but so hardcore at the same time!!!)...i did end up going a different route with my look(still used her), but i still loved what she did! I really think she could do an incredible job with what you want. Definetly give her a call.

I'm sorry but i have to agree with the other girls..i don't think the color shadow compliments your skin..i would go for a more neutral tone and bronze..its also uneven on the eyebrow which throws me off alittle

I like everything except for the shadow colors. You want dramatic I would go more for the smokey look especially with your complexion.
The color also is going to reflect light and look alot lighter then it actually is outside and inside against a flash.
