I went to a trial for my make up yesterday and I LOVED her.

I am curious why you got the trial just shy of a year in advance. Will you have another trial? Were you going to try a few different people and wanted to give yourself enough time to find someone?

ALOT of girls if not most get trials that far in advance, its bc alot of the big make up artists who do weddings and are known and have a good reputation book far in advance unfortunately. I had my heart set on getting a particular hair and make up artist and booked a year in advance. i went on the trial just to make sure i did love their work the same as i had from all the pics i seen plus to see how i get along with them. I went on the trial basically just to book them. Which is good bc somebody else had wanted to book them for the same day. There are 2010 girls who tried booking a make up artist and they were booked already. Its basically done far in advance just to book somebody you really want.

Ive seen some girls on here who waited until a few months before the wedding to book and had a hard time finding someone that wasn't booked already

TO THE OP: i just have to say you have great eyebrows, very nice lol

ESPO... You could not have said any better. I was going to look at other artists including M*i*A. I stumbled on her from a 2009 bride. I liked her, so I booked her.
