make up trial x post

So i got my makeup trial with Kelly from Glam me up. She is sooo sweet and I recommend her to anyone. I just don't think I like airbrush. It feels too much for me. I never really wear makeup to begin with it. I think my cheeks are too rosy (in summer I get sooo dark though so this shouldnt be a problem then). I dont like my lips- too pink, and not sure how i feel about the eyes.

Can I have honest opinions and suggestions. These arent the best pictures. (pics in albums) I took them on my mom's apple computer and the lighting looks weird. I can try to take closer shots of my eyes.

Anyways, please honest feedback. I think I look like a clown. FH said it's not bad, but he always doesnt like it. He likes me more natural.

Again, I cant say enough how much I recommend Kelly. I usually never like myself in makeup.


I think I want like a thick black eyeliner and maybe light silvers or golds or browns as the eyeshadow?? I donttt know. I hate it!!!!

It sounds like you really do not like it therefore should trust your gut. Do you think it is HER makeup technique that you don't like? Did you go to her with pictures of what you wanted?
I'm not a makeup person AT all. Worn makeup maybe 10 times my whole life so I wanted something very light and neutral, esp for summer. I would start looking at inspiration if you haven't already and redo a trial. Sorry!
But I agree, for my taste, I think it's a bit heavy and dark esp for summer.

hi! I think the eye makeup looks good.. I agree about the rosy cheeks though.

but i agree with gerbera. since you said you dont wear much makeup, you dont want to look back at pictures and say OMG why was i wearing so much, that didn't even look like me!

maybe let her know since you liked her, and g ofor a re-do? or maybe if she only does airbruch (and you mentioned you didn't like that) then go to someone else?
