I see everyone getting their make up trials done. When is the right time to start getting that done. Im not getting married till Dec 07. Is it too early?
I also dont get how they remember what they did on you if your trial was like a year ago. Do you do another trial right before the wedding???

Re: make up trials????
I say its never too early... Reason being is 2 ppl I called were alreday booked for my day when I called back in JAN... I mean it doesn't matter b/c I wound up booking with who I origianlly wanted anyway so it all worked out... But no reason to just start looking!
Its fun!

I started hettin nervous thats y i booked my trial .. just like all the vendors everything is booking up quick,, Oksana was like she had people booked for 2008 allready,, for makeup !!!
I go with the sooner the better , at least u can do trial & error & get it outta the way ,,

The girls here convinced me it is not to early because you may want to try different styles or people, and like mentioned the person you want may get booked up. I called yesterday for my trial makeup bc the girl I wanted i know is booking up fast..it depends what you think.

Re: make up trials????
all right you convinced me. Now to part two of my question:
If you get a trial done so far in advance how do they remember what exactly they did for you if it has been a year since the original trial???

Re: make up trials????
I'd take pics of the look. I'm not sure if makeup artists usually take pics for their own records but I plan to take pics just so that she can remember the look and possibly take note of the colors/names of the products used.

Oksana took before and after pics of me and also did the same. I would suggest doing that.
