If you are sure you know you want to use them, I don't see the harm in booking them to ensure they don't book up the day of.

Who do you plan on using? I have no idea where to start with makeup... I feel like I know someone for everything else!

I saw Christy Ann Cosmetics at a bridal showcase last night and she said that she wouldn't wait any longer than a year before to see them because they usually book up at least a year in advance. My wedding is March 29 2014 and I just set up a trial appointment with them for mid-February. From talking to them yesterday it didn't sound like it would be too early if you wanted to book them soon.

If you know who you want to use, no harm in booking early. FH's sister got married last August and I loved who she used (Kelly from Glam Me Up). She recently added on a hair stylist and although I didn't use them last year, she's very professional so I don't see them doing a bad job. I'm going to try and schedule my first trial for our e-pics so I can get two things done at once

I would not wait long at all . If by chance you do not like the first trial you may want to continue the search etc. With that you take the chances of the best artists booking quickly etc. I will be at the Chateau Briand March 3rd for the bridal expo and I would love to discuss a trial with you, rates and show you my work. please email me if you are attending?

All the best and congrats!!

Glam always,
