Make Up Vendors

I am in need of make up vendor referrals. I got in touch with Oksana - but as I live in Jersey - going for appointments in Queens is not all that practical. In order to do wedding stuff, I typically take a day off during the week and go to the Island...and do all kinds of appointments...so i'd rather find someone on the Island than Queens..

Anyone have any great experiences??

just a suggestion, if you like Oksana then i would give it a try and heres why. Queens is closer to jersey than LI...so going from Jersey to LI then Queens is on the way, also just so you know Oksana's place is just a few exits away from LI, honestly 10 mins at most and she lives right off of the grand central service road, so from her place you get right on the highway, you get on around exit 21 on the grand central, and starting at about exit 23 and 24 is beginning of LI

I really love my artist - Denise of Angel Eyes.

She's a LIW vendor - she did the makeup for The Wedding of the Year.

I live in NJ too - try Mya of Cosmetic Artistry. She met me on a Sat morning at a salon she works at in Huntington area. I loved how she did my hair and makeup. She is coming to my hotel room day of wedding and her prices are great. Best of all she is very professional and sweet. I really enjoyed my trial. Jacqueline Nicole does a lovely job also - I know her from friends - she is a real pro. She wasn't available on my date however.
