Does anyone have any suggestions for a makeup artist? Also looking for any information or advice about the techniques (particularly airbrushing). Any advice would be helpful, thanks!

Re: Makeup Artist?
There is a girl in Bellmore who is a GREAT make up artist. She did my daughters makeup and it was amazing. If you want her info let me know and I will FM it to you.
Maureen Pedala airbrushes and is amazing. You can see my tril in album and pics from my wedding day. I went more natural, but she'll do anything...everyone always looks amazing. www.nyweddingmakeup.com good luck!

Kacey from Kholouds...she is a vendor on here. She does airbrushing and is phenomenal...I prefer airbrushing because its lighter and blends in well....I don't usually wear makeup so I needed a natural look.

Anne Demarco.. She is in Woodbury and she did my makeup airbrush. I have trial pics and day of pics in my albums. She did my makeup at 9:00 AM and I didn't go to sleep until 4:00 AM the next morning. My makeup stayed on all night and looked amazing.
My friend Jenn. She does makeup in the SOHO MAC as well as fashion week etc etc.
She is doing mine and I completely recommend her!!!

Re: Makeup Artist?
I used Marie Katz. She is a vendor on here. I got airbrushing and she did the airbrushing for all of my girls and my mom too. Everyone looked great and they couldn't believe how light the makeup felt!
Plus, Marie was SO fun to work with. She is young and so personable. I'd recommend her to anyone.

Re: Makeup Artist?
Like the others said, airbrush is quite light and lasts longer. I had two trials, one with an airbrush artist very popular on this site, and the other with an artist who uses traditional foundation.
Although I liked the effect of airbrush, the other colors (eye makeup, blush, and lipstick) the artists used weren't suited my skin tone at all, even after correcting several times.
I ended up going with the traditional artist, who used flattering colors. The makeup still lasted quite long, and as for touch ups, it wasn't something brides haven't encountered before.
FM me if you want more info. Good luck.

I agree as well - Maureen is amazing! Pics in my albums - she did my makeup for the wedding, and the trial is trial #1 in album.
