Bare Minerals is GREAT makeup for sensitive skin, its so great and you can sleep in it and will never break out...ever!
Spray tanning is risky, i did it once and turned out orange. Id say go to a professional salon and get airbrushed!
Thanks for your feedback!
Can anyone recommend a good salon that does airbrushing??

Whatever you do decide to purchase...make sure you tell the salesperson that you want a foundation that is photo-friendly. Lots of the long wearing bases photograph as if you have a mask on your face. HTH

My dermatologist said that powder make-up Bare escentuals ) is the worst for your skin it clogs your pores bad. I have the worst time with make up because I have combination skin I get really oily with some dry spots. For my Eparty I had my make up done and the artist used MAC foundation and it melted off my face after 2-3 hours so that will not last for the wedding. So I'm screwed.

I have combo skin also. I have not consulted with my dermatologist, but would it hurt you to use bare essentials for one day (assuming you like their makeup). Have you tried other brands? I don't wear makeup everyday, and I do usually have a breakout after wearing heavy foundation. But I will sacrifice that for my wedding day

I'm going to buy my own makeup for the makeup trial (my skin is sensitive/prone to breakouts so I don't want to take any chances). Which makeup brands would you suggest? I have no clue about makeup, lol and I don't want to just walk up to any counter at Saks.
TIA
ETA : MAC seems to be the way to go!!
I have another question....I'm thinking of going for a spray tanning or airbrush tanning trial before the wedding so I can see how I like it.....I guess I should get the makeup after my trial since my coloring will change, right?
Don't feel bad about going to different counters and trying a bunch of different brands. Most of them will do your whole makeup for you so you can see if you like it. Mac usually makes you buy at least three things- but you can always take them back. Def try MAC, Clinique, Bare Escenutals, and Bobbie Brown. Goodluck!!

That's my problem---I feel bad!! Once I had my makeup done at the Clinique counter and I ended up buying $200 worth of stuff that I never even used!!! I don't want that to happen again!!

Just explain to them that you want to see how the makeup feels on you and if you break out from it. And then ask them to write down what tehy put on you so if you come back you know what to purchase. Don't buy it unless it is what you want- trust me- I do it allll the time when Im looking for new makeup. And most makeup places have a great return policy so you can take back something if you decide it isn't right for you.
