Honestly, speaking from experience, you'll save so much going with a make-up artist from a booth in a dept store and your local salon for your hair styling than with a make-up/hair stylist. I overpaid for my make-up/hair and it didn't look any different than getting it done at a mall or salon. If you have time, go to your local dept store and have your make-up done. Research and look around.

She is such a sweetheart and verrryy talented. She had a lot of great reviews so I went to her for my e-pics & then again for a separate wedding trial. LOVED my mu both times
I think she is pretty reasonable too. Her trials are only $35 and she does them out of her house in Huntington. For the wedding, she travels to the bride and it is $125 for bride ($150 for airbrush) and $55 for BMs.

I guess her rates went up b/c she's quoting me $50 for a trial @ her house!

I am using Danielle Minnella. She is a vendor on here. I had a trail with her and used her for my epics. She has resonable prices great reviews and is really sweet!
I had 2 or 3 trials, including one at a MAC makeup counter at the mall. I used an LIW vendor and didnt like my trial at all. I still see rave reviews on that vendor but I guess other brides like her style. For me, I just didn't really like the look she gave me.
I am using another vendor that doesnt advertise on here. She is a little on the pricey side but she did my eyes perfectly and made me look very natural. I found her via internet reviews.

I am using Jacqueline Nicole. I absolutely LOVED my trial!!! And when we got the epics back I knew it was exactly what I wanted, my skin looked perfect.

I'm using Marie Katz. She's absolutely amazing! She did my make up when I was in my friend's wedding back in 2007 so when I got engaged she was one of the first vendors I booked to make sure I got her.

I had two trials with LIW vendors. Both were super sweet, but I went with the girl who captured the exact look I wanted on my day. It's Andrea from Lola Loves Makeup and there are pics in my album.
