What are you doing or what did you ladies do for makeup when your took your epics?
Are you doing your makeup trial the day of? Are you doing it youself?
My concern is that were taking our pics at the Museum of Natural History and I want to get there early, but Im not sure I can get a trial done at the butt crack of dawn, and worse if I don't like the way I look Im not gonna want to take pictures.

You could have your make-up done. Most make-up artists will go to your house at any time... for those brides who have day weddings, they are there at 6am or so...
I will be getting my make-up done at MAC... they do a free 'make-over' if you purchase $50 worth of products.

I did my makeup trial for the wedding when I got my epics done. I did not have her do as dramatic as I probably will do for the wedding but I was able to tell that I was going to have my hair girl do my makeup also!

I ended up doing my makeup myself- I just went a little heavier on the eye makeup than I usually would.

if you are good with makeup i think doing it yourself should be good...just need to go a little heavier on the blush (but not too much) so you look rosy....personally, epics should be casual so you dont want to look too dramatic (like mara said)...otherwise def try the MAC idea, and get a makeover....BUT be careful b/c i did that once when i had to take my graduation pictures and i wasnt 100% sure if i liked it (b/c it was so much more makeup than i was used to) but it looked great on camera! (they know what they are doing)...

make sure you wear what's comfortable for you. i like the way i do my makeup so i'll probably do it myself.

I had mine done for my e-pics. Mine pics were late in the day thou so I dodn't have a mine issue. I used the woman who did my make-up for my cousin's wedding which helped me confirm for myself that I want to use her for my wedding!

im going to clinique that day for my makeup. Its free when you buy any 3 products (don't have to be the ones they use on you!) and I've used them before for other events and it always looks great..

I wont be doing my e pics till Jan 2012, i have a makeup tril in april if this year since i won it at an event so i think will do my own makeup for the epics

I did my own make up. I took photos at 8am. I was a little heavier than normal and they came out great
