makeup for oily skin

makeup for oily skin

I'm trying to figure out what type of make up would be better for oily skin. Traditional or air brush?
I had a trail with traditional and after a few hours i felt my face was extremely gressy. I need some opinions.

I have extremely oily skin - our wedding was in July and I normally wear Mary Kay Medium Coverage liquid foundation with Mary Kay Oil Mattifier underneath. For the wedding day, I wanted something with a bit more coverage without sliding off my face. I used Chanel Pro Lumiere. I LOVE the coverage and it's now my foundation of choice for everyday. No matter what, I always need to blot - if you have oily skin, you can use the best products and get great results, but it won't be perfect. Just keep blotting papers handy!

i had airbrush and it was very good. i have pretty oily skin but makeup always makes it so much worse (like if i dont have makeup on, ill still get oily but not half as much). with the airbrush, i noticed a tiny bit of shine about 2 or 3 hours after but the makeup hadnt come off and since it was airbrush, blotting it didnt take off the makeup like it would with traditional.

i hear though that the makeup person has to have good experience though with airbrush for it to be done right and look good.

with my makeup trial i had tried airbrush b/c i am extremely oily and heard it was cool. well my e-pics were that day and it was roughly 90 degrees and let me tell you how well it held up. i had a little bit of shine after about 2 hours and that was it! it was so weightless and looks flawless, you can see my epics in my album.

i definitely recommend it!

btw, i used Jacqueline Nicole!
